Going Onto Live TV

Going Onto Live TV

We Went Onto LIVE TV

One day we received a very exciting message from a journalist at Channel 4 - Steph's Packed Lunch. At first, we were very cautious and unsure as to whether this was legitimate. We came to the conclusion and soon realised it was very much real after speaking to the lovely team at Channel 4.

We began the process and arranged permission from my sixth form for me to attend. The dates had to be juggled around in order for this to be a success, however we weren't letting this stop us.

A few weeks later we spoke to a researcher who rehearsed everything we needed to know. They also asked me lots of questions.

Sooner or later, I had gone from thinking this message was not legitimate, to now stepping out onto live TV in front of hundreds and thousands of viewers watching me from their home.

I was very nervous and excited at the same time, however after being on set for a few minutes I was relaxed and absolutely loving it. I answered many questions about my journey with OnTheCase4u Ltd & of course the phone case vending machines I installed earlier this year in Manchester and Birmingham.

During the show I gave Steph Mcgovern a phone case which I had designed specially for her. The case was a hand drawn edit of Stephs face which was on a background featuring her studio. She was absolutely chuffed with her phone case, she even has it on still to this day...

Overall, the show was a great experience and a massive confidence boost for me and my business. It was also lovely to inspire thousands of people who may have been watching with children a similar age to me who also suffer with autism just like myself.

We want to give a huge thank you to Steph Mcgovern and her amazing team who work with her and of course a big thank you to Channel 4.
